In the settings, you can point the temp transcode folder to a drive with more space (I pointed mine to a new share on my NAS) and everything should be fine again. It’s a check that was just added a couple of updates ago. It’s because you don’t have enough temp space to transcode the entire file. It seemed to suggest that my temporary file space was not big enough: The files are h264 MKVs at about 15-20 GBs Installed Plex on my 2011 Macbook Pro running OS X 10.11.3 and TV Shows play fine, those are around 1.5 GBs, but the two movies I’ve tried don’t play at all.
