Place the shard into a statue then pray to it, choose the respec character option and your character will have all spent spell/attribute points removed and made available to re-apply to your character however you wish. The classes of the statues is in the following order from left to right: Rogue (dagger), Warrior (sword), and Cleric (hammer). Note that this is a one-time deal per playthrough so CHOOSE WISELY!! If you want to use the shard to respec your character simply clear the area of enemies/bosses then approach the statue of your choice along the outer wall. Now you have two options, you can use the shard to obtain a unique class weapon depending on which statue you choose, or you can reset your character to re-allocate all spell and attribute points you have, not both. Once obtained, simply hold onto the shard until you reach the courtyard where the Commander/ Beast fight takes place. MISSABLE ACHIEVEMENT/TROPHY ALERT!: Using the shard to obtain a weapon is the only way to get the "Couldn't have done it myself" achievement/trophy. Use the key to open the door and beyond you will find the shard within a chest.
Go to the platform on the right side of the stairs (looking down said stairs) and you will notice a small platform to the right within reach, jump to it and head up the two sets of stairs through the archway.īE CAREFUL!! At the top of the stairs before a locked door there is a small gap that you can fall through to your death, so be ready to jump over it. Now that you have the key, head back to the first room of the game. Get a running start and jump over the rail to reach the platform and obtain the Northern Monastery Wing Door Key. Instead of entering the doorway, turn around and head up the staircase until you see an item stashed away to your right in the central platform of the stairs.
After defeating the First Warden, head down the newly opened stairway until you reach a large wooden door that gives you the option to leave. Shortly after beginning the game, you have the opportunity to access one of the most powerful artifacts the game offers, the Shard of Heroes! To reach it, you need to fight your way to the end of the intro section of the Monastery before you head outside.
